Dr. Naik has had his own private practice since July 2000. He graduated from Topiwala National Medical School, Bombay University, India with his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1982. He then moved on to receive his Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology, Bombay, India in 1986. After completing this, he moved on to pursue his Master of Surgery (Otorhinolaryngology), Bombay University, India in 1987. In 1989 he received the Diplomat of National Board (Otorhinolaryngology), New Delhi, India. He completed his Residency for Internal Medicine at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY from 1993-1995. From 1995-1996 he was the Chief Medical Resident at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Naik completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship training from Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY from 1996-1999. This training also included 8 months at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NY. From 1999-2000, he completed his Fellowship training in Advanced Endoscopy from Beth Israel Medical Center in NY.
Dr. Naik is licensed to practice medicine in both New Jersey(New Jersey MA64337) and New York(New York 201956). He was certified in 1996 from the American Board of Internal Medicine and recertified in 2006(ABIM number 167301). Dr. Naik was also certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine for Gastroenterology in 1999 and recertified in 2009(ABIM number 167301). He is an attending physician at the four following hospitals: Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ – Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway, NJ – Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ – St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ.

Outside of the Office
When Dr. Naik is not seeing patients, he devotes himself to his family. He and his wife have a daughter. He enjoys playing cricket in his free time as well.
